Q: How does this Christian Dior J'Adior choker fit?
A: This is a close-fitting choker designed to sit high on the neck rather than fall like a standard necklace. The listed perimeter is 20 cm, so it is best to compare it with a favourite choker or measure where you want it to sit before purchasing.

Q: Is this choker adjustable?
A: No. This piece has a rigid band with a hinge clasp closure, so it wears as a fixed-size choker rather than an adjustable chain style.

Q: Will a rigid choker feel tight?
A: A choker should sit snugly but still feel comfortable. Because this style is structured, it should frame the neck neatly without pinching. If you are between sizes or prefer a looser fit, compare the measurement carefully before ordering.

Q: What details make this piece recognisably Dior?
A: This design features gold-tone metal, the iconic J'ADIOR' signature detail at the front and a structured choker silhouette. The rigid construction gives it a polished, statement look that differs from softer ribbon or chain versions.

Q: How can I style a gold-tone J'Adior choker?
A: It works beautifully as a standalone statement piece with open necklines, shirts, knits or eveningwear. If you like a layered look, pair it with finer necklaces that sit slightly lower on the neck.

Q: What condition is this necklace in?
A: It is listed in Very Good condition. There are light scratches noted externally, and the hardware is described as shiny with light scratches. Please review the product images closely for the best impression of wear.

Q: Does it come with the original box, pouch or other product information?
A: No. This item is sold with no original product information included, so only the necklace itself is part of the purchase unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Q: How should I care for Dior fashion jewellery like this?
A: To help preserve the finish, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear and store it separately from other pieces. Avoid moisture, perfume, lotions and rough contact, and do not force the band beyond the hinge opening.

Q: Can I wear this choker every day?
A: It can be worn regularly, but like most gold-tone fashion jewellery, it is best treated with care. Rotating wear and avoiding direct contact with water and cosmetics will help keep the finish looking its best for longer.

Q: How do you authenticate Dior jewellery?
A: At A Retro Tale, every item is checked by in-house experts. For Dior jewellery, this typically includes reviewing hallmarks, logo execution, construction quality, clasp details, finish and overall consistency with the model.
