Q: What movement powers this Constellation Day‑Date?
A: It is equipped with Omega’s Co‑Axial calibre 8602, an automatic chronometer movement featuring day and date displays and an approximate 55‑hour power reserve, visible through the transparent case back.

Q: What is the case size and how does it wear on the wrist?
A: This reference was produced with a 38 mm stainless‑steel case and an engraved Roman‑numeral bezel. The integrated bracelet gives a sleek, close‑to‑wrist profile. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Is it suitable for swimming?
A: When new, this model is rated to 100 metres. As this is a pre‑owned watch from circa 2010, we recommend a fresh pressure test before any water use and ensuring the crown is fully pushed in. It is fine for surface swimming but not for diving or high‑impact water sports.

Q: How should I set the day and date safely?
A: Avoid adjusting the calendar during the changeover period (roughly 8 pm to 2 am). The calibre 8602 features an instantaneous day/date jump at midnight and a crown‑operated quick‑set. If unsure, consult the user manual for your exact reference.

Q: Is this watch a chronometer and how accurate should it be?
A: Yes. It is a COSC‑certified chronometer. The COSC tolerance for movements of this size is typically −4/+6 seconds per day; actual performance will depend on age and service condition.

Q: What crystal does it have and is it scratch‑resistant?
A: The watch uses a domed, scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal with anti‑reflective treatment on both sides for clear viewing of the dial.

Q: What is included with this piece?
A: Everything included is listed under Product information on this page. If items such as a box, cards or booklets are not listed there, they are not included.

Q: Can the bracelet be adjusted and what wrist size does it fit?
A: Yes, the stainless‑steel bracelet has removable links for sizing. This piece currently fits up to approximately 18.5 cm; additional links can usually be sourced if you need extra length.

Q: How often should I service it?
A: Like all mechanical watches, periodic maintenance is recommended. Many owners service Omega Co‑Axial models about every 5–8 years depending on wear and environment, and water‑resistance should be checked periodically, especially before swimming.
