Q: What is the Omega Seamaster 300M "James Bond" Collector's Piece?
A: Released in 2008 to coincide with the era of Quantum of Solace, this Limited Edition Seamaster (often referred to as the "Black Bond") features a sleek, black lacquered dial rather than the traditional wave pattern. It is distinguished by the "007" logo acting as the counterweight on the red-tipped seconds hand and a commemorative engraving on the caseback.

Q: Is this a Limited Edition model?
A: Yes. This timepiece is part of a limited series of 10,007 pieces produced worldwide. It was designed to celebrate the long-standing partnership between Omega and the James Bond franchise, offering a more understated tribute compared to other 007 editions.

Q: What movement powers this watch?
A: It is powered by the Omega Calibre 2500, a self-winding chronometer movement featuring Omega’s Co-Axial Escapement. This mechanism is known for its precision, reliability, and reduced friction, offering a power reserve of approximately 48 hours.

Q: What is the condition of this specific watch?
A: This watch is in Very Good condition. It shows light traces of use consistent with its age, specifically shiny hardware with some scratches visible on the case, bracelet, and clasp. The internal mechanics are also rated as Very Good.

Q: What is included in the full set?
A: This is a complete collector's set. It includes the original special edition box, outer box, certificate of authenticity, postcard, booklet, and 4 extra links for the bracelet.

Q: Does it have a sapphire crystal?
A: Yes, the watch is fitted with a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, ensuring excellent legibility and durability.

Q: Is the watch water-resistant?
A: The Seamaster 300M was originally rated for 300 metres (1,000 feet) of water resistance and features a helium escape valve at 10 o'clock. However, as this is a pre-owned piece from 2008, we cannot guarantee the original water resistance without a fresh pressure test. We recommend treating it as splash-resistant only.

Q: Will this watch fit my wrist?
A: The watch is currently sized to fit a wrist circumference of up to 20cm, which includes the 4 extra links provided. The 41mm case size is a classic proportion that suits a wide variety of wrist sizes.

Q: How does the black dial differ from the standard Seamaster?
A: Unlike the standard "wave" dial Seamasters of the same period, this Collector's Piece features a glossy, piano-black lacquered dial. This gives the watch a more formal, dressy appearance while retaining its robust diving capabilities.
