Q: Are these earrings clip-on or pierced?
A: These are clip-on earrings, so they do not require pierced ears. The closure is designed to fasten onto the earlobe, making them a good option whether your ears are pierced or not.

Q: What size are these Saint Laurent earrings?
A: They are a dramatic statement size, measuring approximately 9 cm in height, 3.5 cm in width, and 0.5 cm in depth. Their long drop and sculptural shape make them especially eye-catching when worn.

Q: What are the main design details of this pair?
A: This vintage pair features gold-tone metal, a starfish motif, a dangling fish charm, and green enamel details. The combination gives them a playful seaside-inspired look with a distinctly vintage Saint Laurent feel.

Q: Are clip-on earrings comfortable to wear?
A: Comfort can vary from person to person, but clip-on earrings are generally best for occasional or event wear rather than very long hours. As this is a larger statement pair, they may feel more substantial on the ear than smaller everyday styles. If you are new to clip-ons, wearing them for shorter periods at first can help you judge the fit.

Q: Can I wear these if I already have pierced ears?
A: Yes. Clip-on earrings can be worn whether your ears are pierced or not. Many collectors choose vintage clip-ons for their design, especially when the style was originally made without posts.

Q: What condition are these earrings in?
A: They are listed in Very Good Condition. The hardware is described as shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle wear and normal age for a vintage jewellery piece.

Q: How should I care for the green enamel and gold-tone finish?
A: Handle them gently and avoid drops or knocks, as enamel can chip if impacted. To help preserve the finish, keep them away from perfume, hairspray, lotions, water, and harsh cleaning products. After wear, wipe them carefully with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth and store them separately in a soft pouch or lined jewellery box compartment.

Q: Do these come with a box, pouch, or authenticity card?
A: This item is listed with no included items in the product information. If a box, dust bag, or authenticity card is not stated there, it should be considered not included.

Q: Are these authentic Saint Laurent vintage earrings?
A: Yes. A Retro Tale states that every item it sells is authenticated by its in-house experts, with an additional two-step screening process involving experienced suppliers. That makes this pair a strong option for buyers looking for authenticated vintage designer jewellery.
