Q: What size is this brooch?
A: This brooch measures approximately 5.2 cm high, 2 cm wide and 1 cm deep. It has a slim, elongated profile that works well as a noticeable statement detail on a lapel, knit or scarf.

Q: How does it fasten?
A: It features a classic pin-back fastening, making it easy to secure to jackets, coats, scarves and other structured garments.

Q: What does gold-tone mean for this piece?
A: Gold-tone refers to the colour and finish of the metal rather than solid gold. This piece has a polished gold-coloured look with the YSL logo design.

Q: Is this brooch vintage?
A: Yes. This is a vintage Saint Laurent brooch, so gentle signs of age and previous wear are normal and part of its character.

Q: What is the condition of this brooch?
A: It is listed in Very Good condition, with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny, with light surface scratches noted.

Q: What can I wear it with?
A: Brooches like this are often styled on blazer lapels, coat collars, scarves and structured knitwear. Its slim logo shape also works well as a polished accent on a pocket, hat or evening jacket.

Q: Will a pin-back brooch damage delicate fabrics?
A: Any pin-back brooch can leave a tiny hole, especially on silk, chiffon or very fine knits. For best results, attach it to sturdier fabrics or reinforced areas such as lapels, seams, thicker knits or scarves.

Q: How should I care for the brooch?
A: To help preserve the finish, avoid direct contact with perfume, creams, water, chlorine and harsh chemicals. Wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth after wear and store it separately to help prevent scratches.

Q: Does it come with any included items such as a box or dust bag?
A: No additional included items are listed for this piece.

Q: Where was it made?
A: The country of origin label states Italy.
