Q: What are the dimensions and strap drop of the Neverfull PM?
A: The Neverfull PM typically measures about 29 × 22 × 13 cm, with a strap drop around 16.5–17 cm. This specific piece is measured at approximately 26 × 22 × 13 cm with an estimated 17 cm drop; please refer to the Measurements on this page for the exact figures for this item.

Q: What can I fit inside the Neverfull PM?
A: It comfortably carries daily essentials such as a compact wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetic pouch, a small water bottle, and a small tablet or e‑reader. A standard laptop or A4 folder does not fit comfortably in the PM and is better suited to the MM/GM sizes.

Q: Does this bag come with the removable Neverfull pouch?
A: Louis Vuitton began including a detachable zipped pochette with Neverfull bags from around 2014. As this piece dates to 2007 and our Accessories list shows a dust bag only, a pochette is not included with this item unless explicitly stated.

Q: What does the date code VI3007 mean on this bag?
A: Louis Vuitton used date codes through 2021. From 2007 onwards, the four digits indicate week and year of production. VI3007 denotes France (VI) and the 30th week of 2007. Newer LV bags use embedded microchips instead of visible date codes.

Q: Is the Monogram material leather?
A: The exterior is Louis Vuitton’s coated canvas, prized for durability and lightness, while the trim and handles are natural vachetta leather. Vachetta is untreated and will develop a patina over time, and it is sensitive to water and oils by nature.

Q: How should I care for coated canvas and vachetta leather?
A: Wipe the canvas with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Keep vachetta away from water and prolonged sunlight; handle with clean hands, and allow the patina to develop naturally. Store the bag loosely stuffed in its dust bag, out of direct light. For deep cleaning or stain removal, consult a leather-care professional rather than using harsh products.

Q: Can I wear the PM on the shoulder?
A: Yes. With an approximate 16.5–17 cm strap drop, the PM can be worn on the shoulder for most users, though it may feel snug over heavier layers. Avoid overloading to preserve strap comfort and shape.

Q: What closure and interior does the Neverfull PM have?
A: The classic Neverfull features a hook clasp at the top, a roomy open compartment, side laces to cinch the opening, a striped textile lining, and one interior zipped pocket (details may vary slightly by year and lining colour).

Q: When was the Neverfull introduced, and how does the PM compare to other sizes?
A: The Neverfull launched in 2007 and is made in PM (smallest), MM (medium), and GM (largest). The PM offers the icon’s look in a compact, lightweight daily tote; choose the MM or GM if you need to carry documents or a laptop.

Q: What is included with this item, and how do you authenticate it?
A: This listing includes a dust bag. At A Retro Tale, every piece is rigorously authenticated by in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps, and date codes; we stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.
