Q: Are these earrings for pierced ears or clip‑ons?
A: They are designed for pierced ears with a post back closure, as stated in the product information.

Q: What are the materials and finish?
A: These are vintage Prada earrings in antiqued gold‑tone metal with a flower design set with red and clear rhinestones and a large crystal stud. As with most fashion jewellery, the exact metal composition is not specified.

Q: How big are they and how do they feel on the ear?
A: Approximate measurements are 5 cm height × 4 cm width × 1.5 cm depth. They are a statement size with noticeable presence on the ear. If you have sensitive lobes or prefer lighter pieces, consider using supportive earring backs or limiting wear time to special occasions.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: The listing shows a box included. Everything that comes with the piece is listed under product information; if an item isn’t listed there, it is not included.

Q: What is the condition?
A: Very good vintage condition with light signs of use. Hardware remains shiny with light surface scratches, and stones are checked by our team to ensure they are secure at the time of listing.

Q: How should I care for rhinestone jewellery like this?
A: Keep the earrings dry and remove them before showering, swimming, exercising, or applying perfume and hairspray. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Avoid soaking, ultrasonic cleaners, or harsh chemicals, especially because rhinestones can be foil‑backed and moisture may dull them. Store in a soft pouch or box to prevent scratches.

Q: Are these earrings nickel‑free and suitable for sensitive ears?
A: As a vintage fashion jewellery piece, the exact metal alloy isn’t specified, so we cannot guarantee they are nickel‑free. If you have a known sensitivity, consider using protective barrier sleeves or consulting a dermatologist for guidance.

Q: Can the posts be changed or converted to clip‑ons?
A: We do not offer alterations on vintage pieces. A professional jeweller may be able to advise on conversion, but any modification can affect originality and future resale value.

Q: Are they authentic Prada and where were they made?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is authenticated by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks. This pair is marked as made in Italy and is described as a vintage Prada design.
