Q: Are these Louis Vuitton Charm Baroque Hoop Earrings authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What is the correct model name for this piece?
A: These are the “Boucles d’Oreilles Charm Baroque” (Charm Baroque Earrings). The term “Burkle Dray” in the system name is a phonetic variation of the French “Boucle d’Oreille,” meaning earring. They are a rare and collectible pair from Louis Vuitton’s fashion jewellery line.

Q: What materials are they made from? Are they solid gold?
A: These earrings are crafted from gold‑tone metal (typically brass) with a textured chain‑link finish. They feature decorative charms—a purple Monogram flower and a white heart—which are likely made from ceramic or high‑quality enamel. They are not solid gold.

Q: What are the measurements and size?
A: The hoops measure approximately 3 cm in height and width with a depth of about 0.5 cm. This size makes them a noticeable yet wearable statement piece, suitable for both day and evening wear.

Q: Is the mismatched design intentional?
A: Yes, this pair is designed to be asymmetrical. One hoop features a purple Monogram flower charm, while the other features a white heart charm. This playful, mismatched aesthetic is a signature style of the Charm Baroque collection.

Q: How do they fasten?
A: They feature a standard post back closure (butterfly back) designed for pierced ears. Please ensure the backs are secure before wear.

Q: How should I care for the gold‑tone finish and charms?
A: To preserve the gold plating and the colour of the charms, keep them dry and away from perfume, hairspray, lotions, and water. Wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth after use and store them in the included dust bag to prevent scratches.

Q: What condition should I expect?
A: These earrings are listed in Good Condition (353327). This typically means they show signs of wear consistent with age and use, such as light surface scratches or minor plating wear. Please review the close‑up images for specific condition details.

Q: What is included with the earrings?
A: This listing includes the original dust bag. No other accessories or boxes are included.
