Q: What length is this Christian Dior Chain Necklace?
A: The necklace has an approximate perimeter of 40 cm, so it will sit close to the neckline. Fit can vary slightly depending on your neck measurement and how you like your necklaces to sit.

Q: Will a 40 cm necklace fit like a choker?
A: For many people, yes. A 40 cm necklace often wears as a close-fitting short necklace or soft choker. If you prefer a looser fit, we recommend comparing the measurement with a necklace you already own and love.

Q: What colour is this necklace?
A: This piece is listed in a gold-tone colour, giving it a classic Dior look that is easy to wear on its own or layered with other jewellery.

Q: What condition is this necklace in?
A: This necklace is in very good condition with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful previous wear.

Q: Does this necklace come with any original extras?
A: No, this item comes with no additional inclusions. Please refer to the product information for the full included contents of this specific piece.

Q: Is this necklace suitable for everyday wear?
A: Yes, it can be worn regularly, but as with most fashion jewellery and vintage pieces, it is best treated with care. To help preserve the finish, avoid contact with water, perfume, lotions, hairspray and sweat, and remove it before showering, swimming or exercising.

Q: How should I clean and store a vintage Dior necklace?
A: Gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wear and store it separately in a dry place away from humidity and direct sunlight. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh jewellery solutions, as these may damage the finish of fashion jewellery.

Q: Can gold-tone Dior jewellery show wear over time?
A: Yes, light surface scratches and signs of wear can develop over time, especially on pre-owned fashion jewellery. This is normal for vintage pieces and part of their history, which is why condition details are especially important when buying second-hand.

Q: Is this a good necklace for layering?
A: Yes, a 40 cm chain works well as a shorter base layer. It can be styled alone for a minimal look or paired with longer chains for a more layered effect.

Q: What should I check before buying a pre-owned Dior necklace?
A: The most important points are length, overall condition, surface wear, colour, and what is included with the item. For this piece, the key details are a 40 cm length, gold-tone colour, very good condition, and light traces of use.
